Fall is in full color, and Sprague’s Maple Farms in Portville is inviting the community to celebrate the season with its annual Autumn Blaze event. For four weekends, visitors can enjoy free Fall Foliage Wagon Rides to the farm’s antique sugarhouse on the hill.
The rides will run Saturdays and Sundays from September 27 through October 19, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., weather permitting. Guests can also choose to take a scenic walk along Sprague’s trails to the sugarhouse, where sweeping autumn views make for the perfect photo opportunity.
Once at the sugarhouse, visitors will be treated to a taste of fall with homemade maple cake donuts and fresh-pressed apple cider. For guests 21 and over, samples of Sprague’s Maple Chardonnay Wine will also be available.
